A practical and creative course, that allows full immersion and encourages experimentation. Through a mixture of ‘classroom’ and ‘expeditions’ around Oxford you will learn how to develop effective photo-essays and narrative projects.
There will be plenty of opportunity to experiment while also gaining a real understanding of the processes and practices involved.
You will research, shoot and edit your story, while learning the essentials of structure and technique. In addition, you’ll familiarise yourself with the real-world professional challenges that practitioners encounter: How to access locations and subjects, how, editing, story research, and presenting.
There will be intensive feedback in group sessions and one-to-one tutorials, and all work will be exhibited at the end of the workshop.
Full details to follow.
